During my visit to the St Andrews Botanics Garden (SABG), I immediately realized that it was a place where it could both educate and inspire anyone who visited it. For instance, consider the picture that I took below, I learned that medicinal plants are useful for maternal and child health care, as essential drugs, in food and nutrition, for common illnesses and injuries, for endemic infectious diseases, mental health, and oral health. They are not a luxury alternative remedy. Hence, the SABG takes seriously public education about the importance of medicinal plants in our everyday life.
